Canning Systems

The Beer Cannon 35 and 70 canning lines from Alpha Brewing Operations abound with innovation never before seen on linear canning systems. The dual lane design reduces can travel distance providing a smaller footprint, higher throughput and reduced oxygen exposure and DO2 pickup. Our dual lane design allows customers to expand their BC35 to the BC70 canning line to double capacity in the field and on the same footprint! A more versatile canning line you will not find.

Our design engineers sought after energy efficiency, simplicity and reliability and they hit the mark. The Beer Cannon 35 and 70 use servo motors rather than pneumatic cylinders in critical areas throughout the process. Servos offer very precise and programmable movement, whereas cylinders depend on fluctuating air pressure and flow. Servos are extremely energy efficient, and no maintenance, whereas pneumatics use energy hogging air compressors. Air compressors can be expensive and require significant maintenance.

Every can on the Beer Cannon 35 and 70 line is weighed by our patent pending micro load cell station! If a low fill is detected the can will bypass the seamer and be pulled from the conveyor by our reject station, thus saving your can and lid and preventing low fill product from reaching consumers.

The lid magazine on the Beer Cannon 35 and 70 will blow you away. The rotating chambers work like a revolver. As the two chambers empty you simply rotate the magazine and you are locked and loaded with two full chambers.

Our optional integrated blower package for the can drying station further reduces the need for compressed air. Our can rinser uses only the amount of water it needs, when it needs for rinsing each full can. Other canning lines tend to use a continuous flow of H20.

Compare the Beer Cannon 35 and 70 to others and you’ll see immediately the solid build and careful craftsmanship. These systems were built to withstand the abuse of mobile canning operations.
